Hill Country Wedding Photographer.

Fun, funky, famously unposed. Hey y'all — I'm Caity, and I photograph weddings across the Texas Hill Country for couples who'd rather have real stories than vanilla photos.

Getting married in the Hill Country?

You picked the prettiest part of Texas.

The Texas Hill Country is a wedding photographer's dream — limestone bluffs above Lake Travis, oak canopies in Driftwood, Italian villas in Spicewood, and a sky that turns the color of cotton candy roughly every 24 hours. There's no shortage of dramatic backdrops within a 45-minute drive of downtown Austin.

I've shot weddings from Bee Cave to Georgetown, Driftwood to Dripping Springs, and across all the in-between. Each Hill Country venue has its own personality — the Tuscan vibe of Camp Lucy, the white chapel at Star Hill Ranch, the lake panorama at Vintage Villas — and the right photographer should know how to work each one.

If your wedding is going to lean natural, scenic, golden hour-obsessed, and a little badass, the Hill Country is the move. Let's plan it.

Real talk · Hill Country FAQ

Things Hill Country couples always ask me.

Do you charge a travel fee for Hill Country weddings?

Nope. Anything within 100 miles of Austin is included in every package with zero travel fee. That covers Driftwood, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Spicewood, Fredericksburg, Georgetown, Marble Falls, and basically the entire Hill Country.

What's the best time of year for a Hill Country wedding?

October-November and March-May are the sweet spot — mild temps, low humidity, golden light, and wildflowers in spring. July-August is brutal hot (Hill Country can run 100°F+). January-February is cool but unpredictable.

When does golden hour actually start out here?

Hill Country golden hour is roughly the last 90 minutes before sunset. We'll plan your ceremony so the recessional and family photos land in that window — the light bouncing off limestone and oak canopies is the whole reason you booked out here.

Will you scout my venue beforehand?

Yes — venue walkthroughs are built into the Wedding 1 and Wedding 2 packages. For most major Hill Country venues (Camp Lucy, Stonehouse, Vintage Villas, Star Hill, Oasis) I've already shot there multiple times, so I know the light pockets.

How far in advance should we book?

For peak Hill Country dates (April-June, October-November Saturdays), 9-14 months out. Off-peak weekdays often book 4-6 months ahead. The closer to your date, the fewer options.
