Destination Wedding Photographer.

Fun, funky, famously unposed. Hey y'all — I'm Caity, Austin-based with a passport that's seen better days and a camera that wants to see more. Wherever you're getting married, let's go.

Take me with you
Getting married somewhere wild?

I'm based in Austin — but I don't stay here.

Some of my best work has happened outside Texas. Maine coast cliffs. Big Bend at sunrise. National parks. Beaches. Backyards in other states. I take destination wedding bookings, elopements, and intimate celebrations anywhere a flight (or a long drive) will get me.

Destination weddings reward photographers who can actually plan with you — timezone shifts, vendor coordination, light scouting in a place I haven't been, packing for a tropical/cold/desert/coastal shoot, all of it. We do two planning calls and I'll be on text the entire trip.

If you're getting married somewhere worth flying for, send me your date, location, and the rough vision. I'll send you a custom quote within 24 hours.

Real talk · Destination FAQ

Things destination couples always ask me.

Do you actually travel for weddings?

Yes. I'm Austin-based but I take destination bookings regularly — Maine, national parks, beaches, mountains, other states, sometimes internationally. The 100-mile no-fee radius covers Central Texas; beyond that, I quote travel custom (flights, lodging, transport) and bill at cost. No markup, no surprises.

How does pricing work for destination shoots?

Your photography package stays the same as any wedding (BYO Collection, ATX 2026-2027, or Austin Classic). I add a transparent line item for travel costs — flights, lodging, ground transport — billed at actual cost. For most US destinations that's $1,000-$2,500 added; international varies.

How far in advance should we book a destination wedding?

12-18 months out for peak destinations (Hawaii, Caribbean, fall foliage in New England). 6-12 months for more flexible dates. I block travel days around your wedding for buffer + light scouting, so the earlier I can lock those flights, the better the rate for you.

Will you scout the location?

Yes — I arrive at least 24 hours before the wedding so I can walk the venue, find the light pockets, and meet vendors face-to-face. For more complex destinations (national parks, remote venues), I may build in a longer scout day.

Do you handle vendor coordination remotely?

I'm not your planner, but I coordinate directly with your venue, planner, and other vendors leading up to the day. I build your photo timeline based on the venue's quirks and local sunset times. Two planning calls are included — usually one early to lock the structure, one closer to the date to finalize.
